Mrs. Robinson


Mrs Robinson är ledmotiv i filmen” The Graduate” (”Mandomsprovet”), med Dustin Hoffman i huvudrollen. Ingemar har sett filmen många gånger och sjöng gärna sången på sina live-spelningar på 70-talet. (Fler Paul Simon-låtar fanns förresten också på repertoaren, t.ex. Sounds of Silence).
Filmens fru Robinson var en ganska osympatisk person och Ingemar fascinerades av sångtextens: ”And here's to you Mrs Robinson: Jesus loves you more than you will know”.

Ingemars version är lite tuffare än originalet. Simon & Garfunkel använde inga trummor eller elektriska gitarrer. Vissa basgångar dubbas också på piano. Här och där sjunger Clabbe en överstämma.
